So I was driving to school and this Honda Civic drives past next to me. I then change lanes to go behind him because I needed to go on that lane anyways. Just as we came to a red light, he swerves off the road DOWN into a ditch. I remember just seeing him drive right into a wooden plank that closed the opening. Right next to that plank was those cemented bridge-walls. Sooo close to hitting that.

But anyways, I drove past him because I didn’t want to abruptly stop or else the car behind me would’ve hit me. So I went to make a U-turn. When I got to him, I realized the truck that was I front of him actually stopped to check up on him as well. They were nice.

The guy, around my age of teens, was fine. No injuries whatsoever. He was on the phone with his mom and all I remember hearing was, ” Mom! I’m ok. I’m fine. Don’t worry!…”.

He told us his brakes locked.

That was just something to experience. Ever since I lost a friend last month due to a solo car accident ON THE SAME ROAD, I was not ready to lose a stranger, yet a human being, to the same reason.

Thank the lord he was ok.
